Transition Assistance Programs: Moving On with Ease

There are a variety of transition assistance programs available to military members prior to their separation from the military. Within a few months of the service member’s end of service date, they will attend the transition assistance program ("TAP") course, which covers things like interviewing skills, writing a resume and other skills needed to find a job in the civilian world.
